General survey on Korea returnees and their current status in Nepal

Successful accomplishment of a general survey on “Korea returnees and their current status in Nepal” with joint initiation with Ministry of Labor Department and Foreign Employment. It aimed to find the current status of the returnees and possible initiation for their involvement in business and productive sector. This survey showed that they needed financial and skills development support to expand their businesses for which a proposal has been submitted to Ministry of Labor Department and Foreign Employment, Nepal. Data shows that more than 70% returnees are self-employed, running their business, and creating job opportunities in the society.
